Microsoft 365
Microsoft supports organization wide HTML disclaimers through Exchange Admin Center….Mail flow….Rules.
- Sign in to the Exchange Admin Center with an administrator account.
- Go to Mail flow… Rules.
- Choose Add a rule….Apply disclaimers.
- Name it something like Van Brunt – Limits of Liability.
- You can use conditions to prevent it from appearing on internal company email.
- Click the option to Enter text and paste the HTML below.
- For the fallback action, I would generally use Wrap so Exchange can still deliver the message if it cannot insert the HTML.
- Save the rule.
- Review and enable it. Microsoft notes that rules created in the Exchange Admin Center can initially be disabled, so verify that the rule’s status is Enabled before testing.
This is a slightly different version than the Gmail signature HTML because MS exchange mail flow disclaimers seem to prefer a more basic table and style.
